Cycling - The El Dorado for cycling enthusiasts!

You can actually go cycling and mointainbiking from spring to autumn.

In Ramsau, wonderful cycle paths, alpine paths and roads were created, which are there to cycle through the beautiful landscape. The region offers cycle paths in all levels of difficulty, from the cozy excursion for the whole family to demanding day trips for active holidaymakers.

The breathtaking biker trails lead you through forests, meadows and peaceful alpine pastures, over gentle and steep slopes, uphill and downhill. This is a paradise for all bikers.

If you want to make an exhausting tour, take the "Dachstein-Runde", which leads you from Ramsau to Filzmoos, Abtenau, Gosau, Bad Aussee, Obertraun and back to Ramsau. A further tip is the family tour "Grahsteg", which extends from the Rössing to Vorberg.

Paragliding

Since the Dachstein was the start of the most extreme paragliding competition in the world - XALPS - Ramsau has risen to the international elite for paragliders!

For pilots there is a great selection of flight areas for all wind directions and for every skill. In addition, you can use the Sommercard's cable car free of charge.

If you do not have any experience with paragliding, but want to try it, you can register for a paragliding course (with summercard for free) at the "Flugschule Aufwind". Here you can safely learn paragliding in the school grounds of the flying school and become a real professional paraglider-pilot with some practice.

Apart from the paragliding flights, daily tandem flights are also offered daily for beginners. A very special event is the morning flight from the Dachstein. In the case of an ideal flight season, you can take the cable car in the summer, enjoy a beautiful sunrise and enjoy a wonderful morning flight.

Golf in Ramsau

If you want to spend your holiday in Ramsau on the Dachstein and would like to have a golfing holiday, it is no matter if you are a newcomer or an "old golfing bunny". Our 9-hole natural golf course at the Kobaldhof at 1,080 meters, offers "golfing for everyone".

The golf course was opened in 2004 and offers you a driving range, putting green and a 9-hole pitch & put golf course. There is also a shelter for bad weather and four berths.

If you need to learn how to play golf, you have the opportunity to visit the beginner's golf course every Monday. Our golfing instructors will help you get into the game of golf and improve your game through professional support.

Horse riding in Ramsau
